Laser Therapy for animals is the painless application of healing light - it's fast and effective!
The laser beam stimulates the cells and tissues to be healthy. The laser energy increases circulation and causes water, oxygen, and important nutrients to come to the damaged area. This optimal healing environment reduces inflammation so that healing can begin. Also, it reduces swelling, muscle spasms, pain, and stiffness. As the injured area returns to its normal state, function is then restored and pain is relieved.
Laser therapy is a painless application of healing light. Your animal might feel a slight tingling as the light enters the tissue and cells, but it is very minimal if at all. Areas that are in pain or inflamed may briefly be sensitive before the pain reduction.
In simplest of terms, laser therapy is the application of coherent light. The laser light consists of multiple light waves in which all the waves support one another. It is a holistic non-invasive way to treat and manage pain, inflammation, and speed up the healing process.

The treatment time depends on how chronic the condition is and the depth the laser light needs to reach to be effective. However, almost all treatments will be between two and ten minutes.
The number of treatments can vary greatly based on the condition, but many pet owners notice a positive difference within three or four treatments. However, some conditions may only need 1-2 treatments and some conditions may require ongoing care periodically to control pain.
Talk to your veterinary staff as the cost can vary depending on if you purchase a package of multiple treatments, or would prefer to pay per treatment, but treatments are reasonable in cost.

There are over thirty years of research which supports the efficacy of this holistic treatment.
Very few side effects have ever been reported. Occasionally, old injuries or painful afflictions may feel aggravated for a few days. This is just because the healing response is more active after treatment.
